Calligraphy Services

Envelope Addressing

• Date of the event
• The date you want to mail out the invitations
• The date you can provide us with the envelopes and your complete list of attendees
• Calligraphy style desired
• Number of invitations you plan to send out
• Plan to provide a minimum of 10 additional envelopes than needed for 50 or fewer addresses, or 10% more envelopes than the number of addresses, whichever is larger. 
  (NOTE: If you are unable to provide the minimum number of envelopes required, PenDance regrets that we cannot fulfill your order.)
• What format you have the list in (handwritten, typed in Word, in spreadsheet format, etc.)
• Type of paper you will be using (Crane, William Arthur, etc.)
• If you will be using outer envelopes only, or both outer and inner envelopes
• If the envelopes are fully-lined, partially-lined, or unlined
• Color of ink required
• If you want additional embellishment on the envelopes (either outer or inner) such as hand-painted flowers or ornamental pen flourishes

Place Cards

• Date of the event
• The date you need the cards returned
• The date you can provide us with the cards and your complete list of attendees
• Calligraphy style desired
• Number of cards you need
• Plan to provide a minimum of 10 additional cards than needed for 50 or fewer names, or 10% more cards than the number of names, whichever is larger.
  (NOTE: If you are unable to provide the minimum number of cards required, PenDance regrets that we cannot fulfill your order.)
• What format you have the list in (handwritten, typed in Word, in spreadsheet format, etc.)
• If the place cards are tent-style, or presented in an envelope (escort cards)
• Color of ink desired

  Table Cards

• Date of the event
• The date you need the cards
• The date you can provide us with the cards
• Number of cards you need 
• Dimensions of the cards
• Are the cards stand-alone or will they be framed
• Do you want just a table number, the word “Table” + the number, or the number spelled out
• Do you want embellishments on the card be required (such as hand-painted flowers or ornamental pen flourishes)
• Color of ink desired

• The date you need to send the design to the printer

• Name of the printer or stationer you will be using

• Calligraphy style desired

• If you have an example available of a design that you like

• Dimensions of each piece for the invitation set

• Any special instructions provided by your stationer or printer

Monogram Design

• The date you need to send the design to the printer
• The letters for the design and the order you want them to appear
• Do you want the middle letter larger (for the last name)
• What do you plan to use it for (top of the invitation, on the menu, on napkins, etc.)
• Dimensions and format (.gif, .bmp, .jpg) desired
• Any special instructions provided by your stationer or printer
• If you have an example available of a design that you like

Menu Design

• The date you need to send the design to the printer
• The words and layout for the design
• Dimensions 
• Calligraphy style desired
• Any special instructions provided by your stationer or printer
• If you have an example available of a design that you like

Bridal Book Fill-in

• Date needed
• Calligraphy style desired
• Where you purchased the book (in case additional pages need to be ordered)
• How many pages need to be filled in
• How many names, dates, and other verbiage need to be filled in
• Color of ink desired

Certificate Fill-in

• Date needed
• What type of certificate it is (marriage, birth, retirement, etc.)
• Calligraphy style desired
• Number of certificates to fill in
• How many words per certificate
• Color of ink desired

Certificate Design

• Date needed
• What type of certificate it is (marriage, birth, retirement, etc.)
• For marriage certificates, what style is desired (traditional, contemporary, fraktur, celtic, illuminated, etc.)
• Verbiage needed
• Color of ink and embellishments desired
• Calligraphy fonts desired
• Dimensions for the certificate
• If you have an example available of a design that you like
